Contractors now have to register with county

DuPage County, IL -
Contractors performing work within unincorporated DuPage County will now be required to register, bond and insure themselves with the county’s Department of Economic Development and Planning under a new ordinance recently approved by the DuPage County Board.
DuPage County will now be able to provide residents with a list of registered, licensed and bonded contractors performing work in unincorporated areas.
This new requirement becomes effective Saturday, March 1, and will be administered through the Department of Economic Development and Planning.
