Winfield, IL -

Spring finally has arrived and the Farmer’s Market will reopen June 4 in the Prairie Trail shopping mall, located at the intersection of Geneva and County Farm roads.

Last year, Winfield Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Rich Bysina applied for a grant to help with market advertising. Bysina recently received notice that the chamber will receive $3,800 of the $7,200 requested.

The grant will help advertise this year’s market with print, radio, market signage, banners and streamers.
