Douglas and Deborah Rutt of Fort Wayne, Ind., announce the engagement of their daughter, Mical Johanna Rutt, to Robert John Hilbert, son of John and Joan Hilbert of Glen Ellyn.
The bride-to-be was born and raised in Guatemala and earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from Indiana University in 2006. She also studied abroad at AUC Egypt. She is employed as a business analyst for Bright House Networks in St. Petersburg, Fla.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of Glenbard West High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in history and political science from Valparaiso University in 2003. After graduation, he served in the Peace Corps in Mali, Africa. He currently attends Keller Graduate School of Management and is pursuing a master of business degree. He works for DeVry University in Tampa, Fla.
The wedding is planned for October 2008.
