Richard and Betty Schrik II of Oak Brook announce the engagement of their son, Richard James Schrik III, to Valerie Rose Sens, daughter of Denise Sens of Delaware, Ohio.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Lakota East High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in criminology and sociology from Ohio State University and a juris doctorate degree from Kent College of Law in Chicago. She is employed with Alan Hoffman & Associates in Chicago.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of York Community High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Ohio State University. He is employed with Evanston Capital Management, LLC in Evanston, Ill.
The wedding is planned for August 2008 in St. Benedict Parish in Chicago. The couple will reside in Chicago.
