Elaine and Carl Glenn Reichert of Glen Ellyn will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Aug. 21, 2008. The couple were married Aug. 21, 1948, in Oak Park, Ill.
Elaine is a homemaker and is a member of P.E.O. and First United Methodist Church of Glen Ellyn. Carl worked as a finance manager with Hotpoint in Cicero and S.W. Anderson Company before retiring. He is a member of First United Methodist Church of Glen Ellyn, B.R. Ryall YMCA and Kiwanis.
The Reicherts have four children, Dave (Jeanne) Reichert, Don (Laura) Reichert, Laura (Rocky) Daehler and Martha (Greg) Staky; and eight grandchildren.
