Christina Ann Glynn and Charles Thomas Shonts have announced their engagement. Christina is the daughter of Tom and Roseann Glynn of Downers Grove. Charles is the son of Tom and Nancy Shonts of Elmhurst.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Timothy Christian High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Olivet Nazarene University in 2004. She is employed as a purchaser and inside seller for L.A. Fasteners.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of York High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University. He is employed as a certified arborist for The Care of Trees in Glen Ellyn.
The wedding is planned for May 2009 at St. Giles Parish in Oak Park.
