Special events

Polo tournament and fundraiser Finals of the Wyndham Drake Gold Cup tournament will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, Oak Book Polo Grounds, 31st St. and Polo Drive. A fundraiser for the Graue Mill and Museum will take place throughout the afternoon, sponsored by Ronald McDonald House Charities and Crawford Group Sotheby’s International Realty of Hinsdale. Chicago GSB Pakistan Club and GSB Alumni Club of Metropolitan Chicago will host their annual polo outing that afternoon. A visiting Pakistani artist, known for his polo and horse paintings, will display a selection of polo-related paintings.
