Fundraiser
Band concert fundraiser “Holiday Around the World,” 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, Wheaton-Warrenville South High School gym, 1993 Tiger Tail Road, Wheaton. The Wheaton-Warrenville South High School Band will perform a holiday pops concert. A bake sale, raffle and silent auction will be held to benefit the band program. Concert attendees are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy suitable for children ages birth to 16. These toys will donated to the Wheaton-Warrenville Christmas Sharing project. Admission is free. “Tree of Lights” event CNS Home Health and Hospice, an affiliate of Central DuPage Hospital, 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, Lake Park High School, west campus, 500 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., Roselle. Anyone who would like to honor a loved one who has either died or is battling a life-threatening illness is welcome to attend. Keynote speaker is Carol Nilles, a teacher and cancer survivor.
