• More than 38,000 blood donations are needed every day. Baird & Warner Fox Valley in St. Charles is hosting a blood drive on Oct. 28 in honor of Make a Difference Day. The blood drive has been named, Just a Drop in the Bucket, to empasize how great the need is. Appointments  8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. are being scheduled by calling (630) 262-7176. Allow 45 to 60 minutes for the entire process. There are eligibility requirements for donors such as a minimum weight of 110 pounds and 17 years of age or older.
