Ex-Hilltopper Anetsberger swinging hot bat in Class A

Ryan Anetsberger could be one of the next stars rising rapidly through the talent-rich Florida Marllns farm system.
The Glenbard West graduate is hitting .293 in 82 at-bats for the Greensboro Grasshoppers, the Marlins' Class A affiliate in the South Atlantic League.
He ranks third on the team in batting average and on-base percentage (.376), and is tied for second with 12 RBIs. Anetsberger also has five doubles.
Major league stars Josh Beckett, Miguel Cabrera and Edgar Renteria are among the products of the farm system for the Marlins, winners of two World Series since 1997.
