DuPage County, IL -

DuPage County residents can drop off unwanted latex paint or pick up quality, recycled paint Monday through Friday beginning June 2.

The program will run through from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 15 (excluding holidays) at the Woodridge Wastewater Treatment Facility, 7900 S. Route 53, Woodridge. In addition to the weekdays, the facility will be open the following Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.: June 14 and 28, July 12 and 26 and Aug. 9.

The recycled paint will be available to entities in 5-gallon containers, free of charge. Paint can only be picked up during the week.

Residents not able to bring their latex paint to this program are encouraged to dry it with an absorbent material. Once dried, it can be placed out with regular refuse for disposal. Make sure the lid is off the can so the driver can see the paint is dried.
