DuPage County, IL -

A former Villa Park woman accused of murdering her live-in girlfriend last year is back in DuPage County Jail after violating the conditions of her bond, authorities said.

Nicole Abusharif, 27, was out of jail on $1 million bond under home confinement and is only allowed to leave to go to court or meet with her attorney. Authorities allege that she left her Oak Lawn apartment April 25 in violation of her bond to go next door to a family member’s home, according to news reports.

Abusharif is scheduled to appear in DuPage County Circuit Court at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday when prosecutors will seek to have her bond revoked.

Abusharif is accused of murdering Rebecca Klein at their shared home in Villa Park and attempting to conceal the murder March 15, 2007. Klein, 32, was suffocated with a plastic garbage bag and stuffed in the trunk of her 1966 Ford Mustang, which was left in the garage of the home at 250 N. Harvard Ave., police said.

Check back tomorrow for coverage of the hearing.
