Hemmens casting for summer musical "Hair"

Open auditions for the musical "Hair" will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, May 13 and 14, in the lower level of the Hemmens Cultural Center, 45 Symphony Way, Elgin.
The director seeks singers, dancers and actors aged 18 and older, who should bring a prepared song to sing a cappella and be ready to dance and cold read from the script.
The Hemmens Cultural Center reopens its Elgin Summer Theatre Program with “Hair” at 8 p.m. Friday, July 18. For more information, visit www.hemmens.org.
