Come join the Fox Valley Newcomers and Neighbors for their May luncheon hosted by the Eagle Brook Country Club restaurant, 2288 Fargo Blvd., Geneva, on Wednesday, May 21.
The guest speaker will be Monica Bakos, a freelance make-up artist and stylist. Bakos will show how to use make-up to look younger.
Social hour will begin at 11:30 a.m., and the program will conclude around 1:30 p.m.
Cost is $25, and the deadline for reservations and payment is Wednesday, May 14.
The annual membership fee is $25 and includes a membership directory and a monthly newsletter that recaps the upcoming monthly events and activities.

• All are welcome to learn more about the Scouting program at Scout-O-Rama, hosted by Cantigny, part of the McCormick Tribune Foundation Team. Scout-O-Rama will showcase more than 100 activities.

• The Warrenville Mothers’ Connection has announced its 25th annual safety school program, dedicated to educating children who are entering kindergarten in fall 2008.
Children ages 4 through 7 will be accepted to the program after Thursday, May 1.
The program will cover stranger danger, safety at home, emergency use of 911, bicycle, pedestrian and passenger safety, bus safety, railway safety and fire safety.
Registration forms are available at the Warrenville Park District and the Warrenville Public Library.
