Traffic stop yields arrest
Michael Farhi, 47, of the 10800 block of Kingston Street, Westchester, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after being arrested at about 12:45 a.m. Dec. 11 near Mannheim Road and Dorchester Avenue, police said.
Farhi had been driving south on Mannheim Road when police saw him stop in the middle of an intersection after the light at Mannheim Road had turned red. Police stopped Farhi, who later failed field sobriety tests.
Police said Farhi admitted to drinking earlier that night but refused to take a breathalyzer test after being taken to the police station. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and disobeying a traffic control signal.

Man faces burglary charge
Tarik Page, 31, of Chicago, was charged with residential burglary after being arrested at about 2:30 a.m. Dec. 15 at Longcommon and Herrick roads, according to reports.
Officers saw Page riding a bicycle without a headlight, according to reports. Page said he was on his way home from Hillside, and officers followed the bike track in the snow to a residence about a half a block away, police said. Police saw bike tracks and shoe prints matching Page’s boots leading up to the service door, according to reports.
Page was charged with felony residential burglary and violation of parole, according to reports.
Police make DUI stop
Arturo Mayorga, 43, of Cicero was charged with DUI after being arrested at about 12:45 a.m. Dec. 12 at Harlem Avenue and Robinson Court, according to reports.
Officers on patrol ran the vehicle registration of a Dodge minivan and came back registered to a 1992 Oldsmobile, according to reports.
Mayorga said he had three or four beers and was asked to do a field sobriety test, during which he urinated on himself and was unaware, according to reports.
Mayorga’s blood alcohol level was .207 and he was charged with improper lane use, driving under the influence and illegal transportation of alcohol, according to reports.
