The Brookfield Recreation Department will be showing “Mary Poppins” at 6 p.m. Nov. 20 in the Village Hall, 8820 Brookfield Ave.

In addition to the film, some special visitors will be on hand — including the Olde English Chimney Sweeps and Mary Poppins herself.

Dinner will be available for purchase, and will include pasta from Back in the Day Cafe. The Kiwanis Club will be selling beverages, peanuts and popcorn during the film.

Meals can be purchased starting at 6 p.m. and the film will begin at 6:30. If you are coming for the movie only, the event is free.

Seating is provided, but children can bring blankets or sleeping bags if they wish.
