The village of North Riverside is hosting a senior fair from 9:30 a.m. to noon May 7.
More than 50 exhibitors will be at the event including medical experts, insurance companies, community groups, etc. A free health screening will check glucose levels, hearing, stress, memory, depression, cholesterol and blood pressure.
The Secretary of State Mobile Unit will conduct vision testing and license renewals from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A Rules of the Road course will be held from noon to 1 p.m.
The state treasurer’s Cash Dash program will be on hand. Patrons can also visit with police, firefighters and other village officials from North Riverside, Riverside, Brookfield and Lyons will be on hand.
Admission will be free, and the fair will be held in the North Riverside Village Commons, 2401 S. Des Plaines Road. For more information, call (708) 442-5515.
