Countryside to host Tree Lighting Festival Friday

Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive on a fire truck and join carolers to celebrate Countryside’s annual Tree Lighting Festival at 6 p.m.. Friday, at Memorial Park, Plainfield Road and 55th Street.
Free hot chocolate will be served.
Parking is available at Charter One Bank, 450 W. 55th St.
The event is sponsored by Vulcan Materials, AT&T, the Township of Lyons, Cardinal Fitness and Suburban Life Newspapers.
