Midwest SOARRING Foundation’s 14th annual Harvest Pow Wow will take place Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 27 and 28, at Naper Settlement, 523 S. Webster St., Naperville.

Guests will offer cultural exhibits and demonstrations including storytelling, sweet-grass braiding and basket making. The children’s area will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days, with crafts, games, flint knapping (making arrowheads) and educational information.

On Saturday, gates open 11 a.m., with grand entries at 1 and 7 p.m. On Sunday, gates open at noon, with a grand entry at 1 p.m. Host drum is Southern Wind. Featured at the rain-or-shine event will have food, crafts, jewelry vendors and an Artists Showcase. Visitors are invited to bring lawn chairs.

Other special attractions will be a cultural presentation by Ojibwa elder Nick Hockings and music by singer Michael Jacobs and flute player Al Jewer. Hoop dancers Cheyenne Petoskey, Waskwane Stonefish and Beedoskah Stonefish will perform. Save Our American Raptors, with Deshka, the American bald eagle, will be present from noon to 5 p.m. both days.
