Kristen Courtney Fleming and Eric Michael Smith have announced their engagement. Kristen is the daughter of Susan Fleming of Western Springs and Michael Fleming of LaGrange Park. Eric is the son of Richard and Katherine Smith of Lockport, Ill.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Lyons Township High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2008. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in accounting science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She will be working for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Los Angeles, Calif., next September.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of Magruder High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2008. He is employed as a professional actor.
The wedding is planned for June 2009 in First Congregational Church of Western Springs. The couple will reside in Los Angeles.
