Paul and Sharon Ranieri of La Grange Park announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathleen Kranz, to Jeff Thiede, son of Alan and Judy Thiede of Jackson, Wis.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Lyons Township High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2002. She is employed as a resource development director for the Chinook Fund in Denver, Colo.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of Dominican High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in humanities and history from the University of Wisconsin in 2003. He is currently finishing his degree in secondary education at Metro State University in Colorado.
The wedding is planned for October 2008 in Foss Park Chapel in Evergreen, Colo. The couple will reside in Denver.
