Man arrested for battery

Johnny E. Polk, 45, of West Chicago, was arrested for battery and criminal trespass to a residence after an incident on the 1200 block of North Kings Circle at about 5 a.m. Aug. 12, police said.

Woman cited for theft

Jennifer A. Gilbert, 23, of West Chicago, was cited for theft on the 300 block of Ann Street at about 10 a.m. Aug. 12, police said.

Business burglarized

Someone stole a laptop, several bottles of alcohol, two cash register trays, $300, and computer disk driver from a business on the 300 block of South Neltnor Boulevard at about 3 a.m. Aug. 12, police said.

Battery arrest made

Gilbert C. Cantu, 40, of West Chicago, was arrested on two counts of battery after an incident on the 100 block of East Pomeroy Street at about 11:30 p.m. Aug. 14, police said.

Car stereo stolen

A Pioneer car stereo was stolen from a vehicle parked on the 500 block of Main Street at about 2:15 p.m. Aug. 12, police said.

Teen charged with drinking

Matthew E. Chiappetta, 18, of West Chicago, was arrested for public drunkenness and trespassing near the intersection of Washington and Main streets at about 1 p.m. Aug. 13, police said.

Domestic battery charged

Felipe Santiago-Morales, 29, of West Chicago, was arrested for domestic battery after an incident on the 900 block of Lorlyn Drive at about 9:40 p.m. Aug. 15, police said.

DUI arrests

Robert T. Lee, 46, of West Chicago, was arrested for driving while under the influence and for violating an order of protection on the 200 block of North Neltnor Boulevard at about 1:30 a.m. Aug. 17, police said.

Luis Alcantar, 18, of West Chicago, was arrested on two counts of driving under the influence, driving without a valid license, illegal transportation of alcohol and a traffic signal violation near the intersection of Joliet and Brown streets at about 12:40 a.m. Aug. 18, police said.

A Cobra radar detector and subwoofer were stolen from a vehicle parked on the 1000 block of Apple Tree Lane between 11:30 p.m. Aug. 15 and 4:20 a.m. Aug. 16, police said.
