Public alcohol use cited
Ryan G. Bombyk, 28, of Chicago, was cited for possession of alcohol in public on the 2000 block of Franciscan Way at about 9:45 p.m. July 13, police said.

Trailer burglarized
Someone broke into a trailer on the 1000 block of Carolina Drive and stole several items between 6 p.m. July 11 and 5:30 a.m. July 12, police said.

Money stolen from vehicles
Money was taken from two vehicles parked on the 1000 block of Lillian Lane between 7 p.m. July 12 and 5 a.m. July 13, police said.

DVD player stolen
Someone stole a Bose DVD player from a vehicle parked on the 400 block of Carriage Drive between 11:30 p.m. July 12 and 10 a.m. July 13, police said.

Van stolen
Someone stole a van from school property on the 900 block of Prince Crossing sometime between July 2 and July 9, police said. The van was found about one mile from the school.

DUIs charged
Silverio Cortes, 34, of West Chicago, was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol on the 1000 block of Allen Avenue at about 1 a.m. July 9, police said.
John Craig, 27, of Vernon Hills, was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol near the intersection of Route 59 and Heritage Woods at about 2 a.m. July 9, police said.

Domestic battery arrest
Alfred Pohl, 37, of West Chicago, was arrested for a domestic battery incident on the 200 block of Allen Avenue at about 12:30 p.m. July 8, police said.
