Darien-Woodridge Fire Protection District sending packages to troops

The Darien-Woodridge Fire Protection District is hoping to send 10,000 troops Christmas care packages for the holiday season.
Monetary donations will help pay for the shipping of the boxes, which is about $10 a box.
Supplies needed include cards and letters to support a troop, canned soups and fruit, canned tuna or chicken, batteries and jerky.
