Preschoolers, parents invited to get 'Near to Nature'

BATAVIA, IL -
With the Aug. 28 session of "Near to Nature" rained out, the Forest Preserve District of Kane County has scheduled a program from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, at Les Arends Forest Preserve, 2S731 Route 31, Batavia.
During the program, children ages 3 to 6 and their caregivers explore the woods and fields with Forest Preserve District naturalists. They go on a guided hike, play games and take part in other nature-related activities.
Registration is $5 per child. To register, call (847) 741-8350.
