City of West Chicago will host a Mexican Independence Day Parade and Celebration from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14.
The parade steps off at Joliet Street and Augusta Avenue, with festivities continuing throughout the day and evening in historic downtown West Chicago. Highlights include Los Arenales de Tejas, Ballet Folklórico Huehuecoyotl, Mariachis, "Victor 09 Tha Freestyler," clowns, piñatas, food and more.
