Downtown Downers Grove a hot spot for sales Friday

11:40 a.m. Downtown Downers Grove stores are drawing shoppers in with sales on Black Friday.
From Christmas decorations to running shoes just about every store on and off Main Street is marking down prices.
Bella DelPercio, owner of Boll Weevil, said in order to let people know about the sales she sent out an e-mail to the customers in her database.
DelPercio said items in the store are 15 percent off Friday.
Over at Consider it Done, owner B.J. Boyde said all the merchandise is 20 percent off Friday. From this weekend until Christmas she will have rotating sales on items throughout the store.
Traffic in the downtown area was light and some families were waiting at the train station to head into Chicago.
