Wayne, IL -

WLS-AM 890 talk-show host Jerry Agar will appear at the Wayne Township Republican Organization Hunt Brunch on Sunday.

“We’re very excited to have Jerry Agar as our featured speaker,” says WTRO Chairman Ken Spitz.  “Anyone who has listened to his radio show knows that Jerry is both thought-provoking and entertaining.”

Agar’s program is broadcast from 9 to 11 a.m. weekdays on WLS.  Agar is a Canadian expatriate with a conservative/libertarian bent.  Although his show focuses on current events, almost any topic is fodder for Agar.

Agar’s radio career took him to Kansas City and New York City before landing in Chicago.  He was named one of “America’s Hot Talkers” by Talk Magazine.

The brunch will be held at the Dunham Woods Riding Club, 33W333 Army Trail Road,  Wayne.  The brunch runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Adult tickets are $70; and youth (under age 12) tickets are $35.

Reservations may be made by calling Joan Mruk at (630) 231-0713.
