A man charged in the 2006 death of a St. Charles woman pleaded guilty to murder Friday.
Bradley Justice, 31, of Sandwich had been charged with the death of Karen Hassan, a 41-year-old pizza delivery driver who was robbed and killed. Justice pleaded guilty to one count of first degree murder.
Hassan was an employee of a St. Charles restaurant, and at about 8:35 p.m. on Nov. 2, 2006, she headed to West Chicago on a delivery order. The restaurant notified police after she did not return, and at about 1 a.m. that night, police found Hassan’s severely beaten body under a truck. Police arrested Justice the next day at a hotel in Tuscola.
Justice will next appear in court April 21 for a pre-sentencing hearing.
