Willowbrook High ensemble to perform winter concert

The Willowbrook High School Orchestra and Guitar Ensemble will host its annual winter music concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27. This performance will be held in the Doris E. White Auditorium at Willowbrook High School, 1250 S. Ardmore, Villa Park.
The featured performer will be senior Jonathan Kite, winner of the annual concerto competition. Jonathan, a double bass player, will perform “Tarantella” by G. Bottesini on an 1800s Bohemian solo bass instrument. He will be accompanied by a small string ensemble made up of students from the main orchestra.
Tickets for this performance may be purchased at the door ($3 for adults and $2 for students); senior citizen gold cards and student activity passes will be honored. Children ages 12 and younger will be admitted free of charge when accompanied by an adult. The community is invited to attend this concert.
