Men face drug charges
Richard P. Neumann, 19, 659 Terry Court, Roselle, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to yield turning left at 11:45 p.m. Nov. 23 near the intersection of Schick and Bloomingdale roads.
Richard D. Schanken, 45, 288 Byron Ave., Bloomingdale, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a vehicle without rear taillights at 6:15 p.m. Nov. 28 near the intersection of Army Trail and Glen Ellyn roads, according to police reports.
Burglary reported
A home in the 200 block of Tee Lane was reported ransacked and burglarized between 8:30 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. Nov. 24, according to police reports. Several items were reported stolen; no damage estimate or further information was released.
Car break-in reported
A Kenwood stereo monitor, DVD receiver and Apple iPod were reported stolen from a car parked outside of Best Buy, 352 W. Army Trail Road, between 8:45 a.m. and 3 p.m. Nov. 26, according to police reports.
Loss was estimated at $1,000, police said.
Several face DUI charges
Bartolome Medina, 23, of Mount Prospect, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to signal when changing lanes, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, no valid driver’s license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at 3 a.m. Nov. 27 near the intersection of Lake Street and Glen Ellyn Road, according to police reports.
Timothy P. Shephard, 52, 363 Vinings Drive, Bloomingdale, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage at 10:30 p.m. Nov. 28 near the intersection of Butterfield Drive and Army Trail Road, according to police reports.
Kenneth Smith, 38, of Bolingbrook, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving while license suspended and felony driving under the influence of alcohol at 8 p.m. Nov. 29 near the intersection of Lake Street and Glen Ellyn Road, according to police reports.
Man faces theft charge
Ramanbhai Patel, 60, 125 Saratoga Drive, Glendale Heights, was charged with retail theft after he allegedly tried to steal a Kenmore vacuum valued at $400 from a store display at the Sears store in Stratford Square Mall at 3 p.m. Nov. 28, according to police reports.

Woman faces liquor charge
Melissa Neil, 24, of Palatine, was charged with selling liquor to a minor Nov. 27 at Kinta Sushi Bar and Steakhouse, 135 Hiawatha Drive, police said. No exact time was given.
Man faces battery charge
Ronald Du Beau, 41, of the 300 block of Mohawk Drive, Carol Stream, was charged with battery Nov. 26 at his residence. No exact time was given on the incident.
Man faces drug charges
Marc A. Como, 42, 1N139 Papworth St., Carol Stream, was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence of drugs at 11:30 p.m. Nov. 14 near his residence.

Televisions stolen
Police said they are investigating a burglary complaint after an employee of a local business reported that someone broke into three recreational vehicles in the business lot. The incident occurred between 3:30 p.m. Nov. 29 and 1 p.m. Dec. 1 along the 900 block of North Avenue.
According to police, windows on the vehicles were smashed, and the doors were damaged. Police said a plasma television was taken from each of the three vehicles. No value was given on the televisions or the damage.
Vehicle vandalized
Police said two cars along the 300 block of Polo Club Drive were damaged after someone dented one car and threw a pumpkin through the windshield of another. The incident was reported at about 4 a.m. Nov. 26, police said. No damage was given in the incident.
Man faces traffic charges
Patrick L. Carbray, 52, no address given, was charged with driving with a revoked license after being pulled over for improper lane usage at about 1:45 p.m. Nov. 26 near the intersection of Bloomingdale Road and Sidney Drive, police said.

Video game system stolen
A GameCube system and change were stolen from a car parked on the 100 block of East Granville Avenue.
The theft was reported at 7:45 p.m. Nov. 13. The estimated value of the stolen items was between $400 and $550.
Electronics stolen
A burglary was reported at 7 a.m. Nov. 6 on the 800 block of East Irving Park Road. A laptop, two computers, a personal digital assistant and $400 were stolen after the front door was pried open.
Laptop stolen from car
A laptop computer was taken from an unlocked vehicle on the 400 block of Shagbark Court. The theft was reported at 8:45 a.m. Nov. 2.
Car windows smashed
Two cars had windshields smashed on consecutive nights. The first incident, on the 1100 block of Singleton Drive, was reported at 7:30 a.m. Nov. 3. The second incident, on the 500 block of Yosemite Court, was reported at 5:30 a.m. Nov. 4.
