Lombard Arts Coalition, in cooperation with Lombard Park District, will hold two free art workshops in September to prepare for October’s Illinois Arts & Humanities Month.

The DuPage Art League’s fall schedule of art classes starts the week of Sept. 8.

Adventist Hinsdale Hospital’s Medical Staff Auxiliary will hold its 54th annual ice cream social from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, at Burlington Park in downtown Hinsdale.

The Elmhurst Symphony Brass Quintet will perform an hour-long free concert, featuring familiar classical and popular brass selections, at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14, in Lombard’s Lilacia Park, 150 S. Park Ave.
