This year's DuPage County Fair will run from Wednesday to Sunday, July 23-27.

Here's everything you need to know:

Everyone 13 and older: $10
Children 3 to 12: $3
Children 2 and younger: Free
Five-day pass: $30 dollars
Tickets can be purchased online at www.dupagecountyfair.org or by phone at (630) 668-6636.
Separate tickets must be purchased for grandstand shows.

Carnival rides

The fair will feature a midway with a variety of carnival rides, including a Ferris wheel. A mega pass for unlimited rides for one day is $25. The bumper boats and bungee rides are not included in the mega pass.

Food

Corn dogs, cotton candy, elephant ears and other fair fare will be sold throughout the day. There will also be an air-conditioned cafeteria where visitors can eat a sit-down meal.

Entertainment

There will be free entertainment throughout the day, including musical performances in the entertainment tent. Out on the midway, there will be performers including Buttons the Clown and stiltwalker Carrie McQueen. New this year will be shows by Espana Extreme Aerial Stunt Show and Dock Dogs.

4-H

The 4-H building is a staple of the county fair. Visitors can see DuPage 4-Hers showing off a variety of projects and vying in livestock competitions. Ag-Ventureland will feature agricultural-related games and demonstrations, including sheep shearing, spinning and weaving, blacksmithing, wood carving and fossil, gems and jewelry crafters showcasing their  artistry. Also in Ag-Ventureland will be a petting zoo and pony rides, cow milking and calf birthing, and the Agracadabra Magician.


Parking is free every day.
