The brand new Buffalo Wild Wings location in Berwyn is set to open Monday. The new sports bar and restaurant, located at 7132 Cermak Rd. will be raffling away free wings for a year to 100 people during its first week.
Patrons must go to the location and register for the restaurant's email list for a raffle entry. Winners will receive 52 vouchers – one for each week of the year – for six free wings.
The restaurant will be the first business to open in the city-lead Berwyn Gateway Plaza project. The city bought or invoked eminent domain on three a Mexican restaurant, an automotive shop, and a doctor's office to redevelop the northeast corner of Cermak Road and Harlem Avenue.
Chiptole Mexican Grill, The Vitamin Shoppe, and a Verizon Wireless retail store also have signed on to the project and will open locations in the newly-built shopping center, but two vacancies remain in the plaza.
