• Morton College in Cicero has announced a partnership with SWC Technology Partners, an award-winning company dedicated to providing innovative information technology solutions, to provide network administration and technology support. The Oak Brook-based company recently received Microsoft’s Midwest Area Partner “Compete to Win” award. SWC was selected from 40 nominated companies representing more than 8,800 partner companies in a three-state region that includes Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin.

• The State Bank of Countryside was named one of Chicago’s “Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” by the National Association for Business Records. The bank now has received this award two years in a row, and a ceremony was held Aug. 4 at the Oak Brook Marriott to honor the winner.

• Southwest Suburban Center on Aging will offer an early stage memory loss program in 10 weekly sessions for individuals and their family members dealing with early stage memory disorders at the center, 111 W. Harris Ave., La Grange. The series, which will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, is offered in affiliation with the Alzheimer’s Association. The program is free of charge. • In-home parent coaching and education now is just a phone call away for residents of the suburbs. Parents in need of guidance and support have a local “supernanny” resource in ABC Moms Inc. • Southwest Suburban Center on Aging will offer a program on alternative treatment methods for those who seek a better quality of life through the senior years at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, at the Center on Aging, 111 W. Harris Ave., La Grange. Dr. Felicitas Tobias, founder of Tobias Healing Institute, will share her insights into using alternative methods to ensure vitality and zest for life throughout the aging process.
