John and Violette McNeely of Countryside announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie McNeely, to David Myrdahl, son of Garry and Vivien Myrdahl of Arcadia, Calif.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Lyons Township High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Hope College in 2002. She is employed as a kindergarten teacher with Anna Hause Elementary School in Beaumont, Calif.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of Arcadia High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Dordt College in 2002. He is employed as a junior tour director with PGA of Southern California.
The wedding is planned for April 2009 in Western Springs Baptist Church. The couple will reside in Banning, Calif.
