Morton West hosting annual school band concert this month

The Morton West High School band program, led by Dr. Lawrence J. Pearce, will present its annual “Sounds of the Stadium” concert, featuring music from “West Side Story,” the movie “Dreamgirls,” as well as other musical selections.
The concert is at 7 p.m. Oct. 21 in the Morton West High School auditorium, 2400 S. Home Ave., Berwyn.
Admission is free, and the performance is open to the public. A reception is scheduled for after the performance, and will be sponsored by the Morton West Music Parents Association.
