Meeting scheduled to explain foreclosure crisis in Berwyn

Residents are invited to attend an informational meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, about the home foreclosure crisis in Berwyn.

The meeting, sponsored by the All Berwyn Committee, will be in Berwyn City Hall, 6700 26th St.

Speakers are expected to discuss the causes of foreclosures, the impact on Berwyn and residents and property owners rights while in foreclosure, according to the All Berwyn Committee.

Presentations will be made by Reyna Hernandez and Ruben Feliciano of the Latino Policy Forum, Berwyn’s Director of Community Development Robert Dwan, and lawyer Jay Reyes of the Riverside Law Group. Spanish-language translators will be available.
