During Saturday’s game against visiting Waubonsie Valley, St. Charles East soccer alumni will be on hand for a series of festivities.
Fifty to 100 alumni and former coaches from 30 years of St. Charles High School and St. Charles East soccer are expected to attend the game, which kicks off at 2 p.m. at Norris Stadium.
During halftime of the varsity contest former coaches and players will be honored. At the conclusion of the varsity contest the alumni will don the cleats for a friendly game spanning generations of Saints soccer.
As part of the festivities, the alumni will present a scholarship check to the Saints’ soccer program. Donations will be taken by the alumni at the game.
After the alumni game the action will move to the House Pub in downtown St. Charles.
