Campton Hills Soccer Club's U-16 Navy boys team won the U.S. Youth Soccer Region II champsionship with a 1-0 win over the Kansas City Wizards Juniors Wednesday in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
A defensive affair for much of the match, Campton went ahead in the game's 54th minute when Seamus Kaminski broke through for a goal. Campton's defense made the 1-0 lead hold up for the win, and the team will now move on to represent Region II at the U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships July 21-26 in Lancaster, Massachusetts.
