Items taken from North River Street residence

Several ladders and a handheld wrench, together valued at $230, were reported stolen from a residence at about 11:15 a.m. April 17 in the 300 block of North River Street, police said.

GPS reported stolen from parking lot

Someone broke out the front driver’s side window of a vehicle and stole a GPS unit at about 2:45 p.m. April 17 in the parking lot of Hobby Lobby, 421 S. Randall Road, police said. Reports state the total estimate for the GPS unit and broken window is $800.

Mattress, television reported stolen

A queen size mattress and a Sanyo television, together valued at $648, were reported stolen from an apartment at about 8 p.m. April 17 in the 1300 block of East Wilson Street, police said.

Door lock broken off East Wilson building

A door lock, valued at $400, was broken off the door of a building at about 9 a.m. April 16 in the 1200 block of East Wilson Street, police said.

Woman nets retail theft charge

Sandra Suarez, 20, of North Aurora, was charged with retail theft at about 2:15 p.m. April 16 at Kohl’s, 251 N. Randall Road, police said.

Go-carts stolen from driveway

Two go-carts, valued together at $900, were reported stolen from a driveway between 11:30 p.m. April 12 and 3 p.m. April 13 in the 100 block of Harrison Street, police said.

Tools stolen from multiple vehicles

• Two tile saws and a nail gun, valued together at $640, were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle between 10 p.m. April 16 and 7 a.m. April 17 in the 1300 block of Windsor Court, police said.

• Several tools, valued at $2,000, were reported stolen from the enclosed bed of a pickup truck between 9:30 p.m. April 13 and 9 a.m. April 14 in the 700 block of Lancaster Lane, police said.

Course vandalized at Eagle Brook

Someone stole a flag stick and sprayed shaving cream on the putting green surface between an unknown time April 19 and about 10:30 a.m. April 20 at Eagle Brook Country Club, 2288 Fargo Blvd., police said.

Vehicle keyed in parking lot

Someone keyed the front and rear passenger doors of a vehicle between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. April 18 in the Delnor Hospital parking lot, 300 S. Randall Road, police said. Reports estimate the damage is $200.

Geneva man charged with DUI

Peter John Messina, 52, 1000 Geneva Road, Apt. 11 B, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at about 9:45 p.m. April 17 in the 1000 block of East State Street, police said.

Items stolen from vehicle on Lancaster Lane

An iPod, a pair of running shoes, an audio book and two home decorating sample kits, valued together at $1,250, were stolen from a vehicle between 8 a.m. April 15 and 8 .m. April 16 in the 700 block of Lancaster Lane, police said.

Man charged with disorderly conduct

Theodore John Brubaker, 46, of 1102 Dean Street was charged with one count of disorderly at 12:41 a.m. April 11. Brubaker had apparently been intoxicated and attempted to bring food to his neighor. When his neighbor wouldn’t answer, Brubaker dialed 911. Brubaker dialed 911 several times after he was warned not to call and was later arrested at his home.

Man charged with retail theft, underage drinking

MItchell Scott Eckhart, 18 of 22 Aintree Road, was charged with one count of retail theft and one count of illegal consumption by a minor at 9:04 p.m. April 15. Eckhart had apparently tried to steal a bottle of Vodka at the Butera grocery store on 2732 E. Main Street.
