Teen nets drinking charge
Jillian E. Louis, 17, 500 Iroquois Drive, Batavia, was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor at about 6:45 p.m. Jan. 16 at her home, police said.

GPS units stolen
• Someone smashed the driver’s door window of a vehicle and stole a global positioning system unit, valued at $150, at about 4:15 p.m. Jan. 14 at Kohl’s, 251 N. Randall Road, police said.
• Someone smashed the front passenger side window of a vehicle and stole a GPS unit, valued at $150, at about 11:45 a.m. Jan. 12 at Menard’s, 300 N. Randall Road, police said. Reports estimate the damage is $250.

Snowblower stolen
A snowblower valued at $400 was reported stolen from a driveway between Jan. 10 and about 12:30 p.m. Jan. 13 on the 700 block of Cleveland Avenue, police said.

Items stolen from locker
An MP3 player and cell phone, together valued at $500, were stolen from a locker at about 3 p.m. Jan. 13 at Batavia High School, 1200 W. Wilson St., police said.

Man charged with battery
Wade J. Gillespie, 21, of Aurora was charged with domestic battery, aggravated battery to a police officer and resisting arrest at about 2:45 a.m. Jan. 11 on the 1200 block of East Wilson Street, police said.

Vehicle window smashed
Someone smashed the front passenger side window of a vehicle at about 2 p.m. Jan. 11 at Batavia High School, 1200 W. Wilson St., police said. Reports estimate the damage is $300.

Vehicle window damaged
Someone smashed the rear window of a vehicle between 8:30 p.m. Jan. 14 and 3:30 p.m. Jan. 15 on the 2200 block of Pepper Valley Drive, police said. Reports estimate the damage is $400.

ST. CHARLES

Wallet stolen
Someone stole a wallet containing credit cards, a driver’s license and $300, between 6 and 7:15 p.m. Jan. 10 on the 300 block of South Fourth Street, police said.

Man nets DUI charge
Gage W. Nelson, 18, of Elgin was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at about 11:30 p.m. Jan. 9 at 2 State St., police said.

Teen faces drinking charge
Matthew W. Jones, 17, of the 1200 block of Iroquois Drive, Batavia, was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by someone under 21 and disorderly conduct at 10 p.m. Dec. 29, on the 1200 block of South Elm Street.
According to police, Jones was in the road yelling and hitting cars with his fists.

Woman charged with theft
Marlyn A. Glover, 19, of Aurora was charged with retail theft and illegal possession of alcohol by someone under 21 at 6 p.m. Dec. 30 at the Meijer store, 855 S. Randall Road, according to police reports.

Battery alleged at bar
Theresa Naomi Walker, 24, of Champaign was charged with one count of battery after she allegedly punched a man in the face at 12:45 a.m. Jan. 1 at Scotland Yard bar, 301 W. Main St., according to police reports. Walker was arrested.
Police said the man was trying to get Walker to leave.

Threats lead to charges
Joseph R. Pino, 35, of the 900 block of West Main Street, St. Charles, was charged with one count of disorderly conduct at 1 a.m. Jan. 3.  after he called 911 and threatened to “blow up” Rookies restaurant, 3823 Karl Madsen Drive, according to police reports.
Police said Pino was asked to leave the restaurant after he allegedly tried to start a fight there the night of Jan. 2. Police said Pino hit a restaurant staff member who said he did not want to pursue charges.
Pino left the restaurant but still was upset and later made threatening calls and the 911 call, police said.

Three face theft charges
Yolanda D. Sullivan, 21, of the 1100 block of Fleetwood Drive, Elgin; and Rizzo W. Gissendanner, 28, and Darcy D. Bell, 23, both of the 1800 block of Fifth Place, St. Charles, were charged with one count of retail theft after they allegedly stole clothing, auto supplies and other items valued at $354 from the Meijer store, 855 S. Randall Road.
According to a police report, the trio exited the store but left the merchandise when approached by store staff.
Police later apprehended the three as they attempted to exit the Meijer parking lot in a car driven by Sullivan.
Additionally, Sullivan was charged with driving with a suspended license. According to police, Sullivan also had clothing in several Wal-Mart bags that she did not have a receipt for.
