Property damage charged

Matthew M. Herrington, 30, of Aurora, was charged with damage to property at about 4:30 p.m. May 4 after he damaged a front door in the 400 block of Davis Road, police said.

Home hit with BB’s

A home was shot with BB’s at about 4:45 p.m. May 4 in the 1500 block of Kennedy Drive, police said.

Gas reported stolen

• Someone pumped $5.01 worth of gas and drove off without paying at 1 p.m. May 1 from Phillips 66, 200 E. Fabyan Pkwy., police said.

• Someone pumped $70 worth of gas and drove off without paying at about 2:30 p.m. April 24 from the Geneva Shell Station, 1491 E. State St., police said.

Teen charged with theft

Gabriela Badillo, 18, of Aurora, was charged with retail theft after taking $63.98 worth of items at about 4:30 p.m. May 1 from Kohl’s, 251 N. Randall Road, police said.

Teens net alcohol charges

Jaymes R. Kraft, 19, 751 Mather Lane, Batavia, and Zachary M. Neumann, 17, 491 Kickapoo Ave., Batavia, were charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol at midnight May 1 in the first block of Van Buren Street, police said. Reports state Neumann was also charged with resisting a peace officer.

GENEVA

Purse stolen from car

A purse containing $60, a debit card and a driver’s license was stolen from an unlocked car between 8:15 and 8:45 p.m. May 2 in the 1400 block of East State Street, police said.

Tires reported punctured

Several cars had tires punctured between 1:15 and 8 a.m. at apartments on the first block of Simpson Street, police said. Reports state the damage to the cars is $1,430.

Man nets drug charges

Michael N. Wurtz, 30, 1405 Potomac Court, Geneva, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 2 a.m. April 30, police said.

Man charged with bike theft

Joseph A. Gronskis III, 37, 700 1⁄2 E. State St., was charged with theft April 26 after stealing a girl’s purple bicycle, valued at $100, from an apartment building in the 200 block of Longview Drive, police said.

Retail theft charged

Pamela C. Pitstick, 41, of Shabbona, was charged with felony retail theft after stealing $1,093.50 worth of clothing at about 2 p.m. April 24 from Coldwater Creek, 310 Commons Drive, police said.

Men charged with stealing

Pablo Benavidez Macias, 33, and Roberto Juarez, 26, of West Chicago, were each charged with one count of retail theft after taking apparel worth $213 from the Wal-Mart store at 150 Smith Road, at 7 p.m. April 21.

Property damaged

Five of seven windows in an excavator were broken between 4 p.m. April 18 to 5:30 a.m. April 21 on the 900 block of Equity Drive. The damage was estimated at $3,000.

Return nets theft charge

Roseann Taylor, 53, of Chicago was charged with one count of retail theft after returning clothing that belonged to the Von Maur store at 3810 E. Main St. at 5:45 p.m. April 28. Taylor allegedly received $227.85 cash for the items.

Spare tire taken from truck

Someone removed a spare tire valued at $125 from a 1997 Jeep Wrangler parked at 101 S. 17th St. at 5 p.m. May 1.
