A Minnesota man who used to teach karate in South Elgin and Roselle was indicted today for allegedly having sexual contact with two minors.
Dean Fuerstenberg, 43, of Eden Prairie, Minn., was indicted on four counts of criminal sexual assault and six counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse while teaching at karate schools in the area, according to the DuPage County Sheriff's Office.
The two females were between 13 and 18 years old. The sexual acts in South Elgin are alleged to have taken placed between June 2003 and November 2005 and between May 2001 and May 2006 in Roselle.
Fuerstenberg is being held at DuPage County Jail in Wheaton in lieu of $700,000 bail.
