Park Foundation seeks trustees to fill openings

The St. Charles Park Foundation has four immediate openings on its board of trustees.
The foundation aids and encourages the St. Charles Park District in the acquisition, conservation, preservation, development and operation of lands and the fostering of recreational programs and activities.
The board of trustees has 12 members who volunteer their time to provide direction, motivation and guidance to the foundation. They also are called upon to initiate and carry out fundraising campaigns.
Trustees attend monthly board meetings, currently held at 6:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month, and participate in special advisory committees on an as-needed basis.
Nominations must be submitted in order to be considered. Letters of interest should be sent to St. Charles Park Foundation, 101 South Second Street, St. Charles, IL 60174.
