Parents of children of all ages are invited to Geneva Middle School North at 7 p.m. Thursday for a presentation by the Geneva Police Department on how to keep children safe on the Internet.
The presentation will include practical tips for monitoring a child’s online behavior and ensuring his or her safety.
Parents will learn about the issues surrounding middle and high school age children and the Internet, including sexual predators, cyber bullying, illegal downloading and online chats. Parents will also see examples of current and potentially dangerous sites and behaviors.
