Storm door damaged
A piece of aluminum was pulled off a storm door on North Sixth Street between 6 p.m. Jan. 24 and 11:30 a.m. Jan. 25. Damage was estimated at $100.

DUIs charged
• Richard A. Olson, 58, 884 Manchester Course, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 5 p.m. Jan. 20 on the 100 block of Eastside Drive.
• Lorenzo Castillo-Gonzalez, 31, of Chicago was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, no valid driver’s license and driving an uninsured motor vehicle at 9:15 p.m. Jan. 21 on the 900 block of West State Street.

St. Charles
Break-in attempted
A break-in was attempted at a Subway restaurant, 570 S. Randall Road, between 9 p.m. Jan. 14 and 11 a.m. Jan. 15. Nothing was reported stolen, but about $150 in damage was done to the door.

Cash stolen from wallet
A 30-year-old West Chicago woman reported that $900 in cash was stolen from her wallet between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Jan. 11 while she was working at Pine View Care Center, 611 Allen Lane.

Theft charged
Cheryl J. Mizak, 52, of West Chicago was arrested Jan. 24 on a felony theft charge. She allegedly stole about $2,400 since November from the Target store, 3885 E. Main St., where she worked.

Underage drinking charged
Tanya M. Gregorie, 20, 749 Lancaster Lane, Geneva, and Kimberly E. Johnson, 19, of Aurora were arrested Jan. 22 and charged with retail theft and possession of alcohol by a minor. The pair allegedly stole a bottle of watermelon vodka from Meijer, 855 S. Randall Road.

Batavia
Woman nets DUI charge
Donna J. Lasota, 52, 1889 Hastines Ave., Downers Grove, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to reduce speed at 1 p.m. Jan. 25 at Kirk Road and Hubbard Avenue.

Underage drinking charged
Ryan J. Moran, 19, 1601 Hadley Drive, was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol at 12:15 a.m. Jan. 24 at The Great Escape, 1995 W. Wilson St.

Teen nets multiple charges
Jillian E. Louis, 17, 500 Iroquois Drive, was charged with aggravated battery, resisting a police officer, unlawful consumption of alcohol and possession of tobacco at 11 p.m. Jan. 24 at her residence.

Items stolen from vehicles
• An electric guitar was stolen from a vehicle on the 600 block of Ridgelawn Trail. The theft was reported at 9:30 a.m. Jan. 23. The driver’s side window was damaged during the burglary causing an estimated $250 in damage.
• A jumper-cable battery pack unit, valued at $45, was stolen from a vehicle on the 600 block of Ridgelawn Trail. The theft was reported at 8 a.m. Jan. 23.
• A stereo system was stolen from a vehicle while it was parked at Chuck E. Cheese, 511 N. Randall Road. The theft was reported at 8:30 p.m. Jan. 22. The passenger side window of the vehicle was smashed during the burglary.

Vehicles vandalized
• A vehicle on the 200 block of South Batavia Avenue was vandalized with permanent marker. The incident was reported at 11 a.m. Jan. 23.
• The grill and front passenger window of a vehicle on the 1200 block of East Wilson Street were smashed and both driver’s side tires were slashed. The incident was reported at 5:15 p.m. Jan. 20. Damage was estimated at $1,000.

Vehicle stolen
A 2006 Chevrolet Equinox was stolen from the 1100 block of Lorlyn Circle. The theft was reported at 1:15 p.m. Jan. 22.

Items stolen from shed
Four shovels and a chainsaw, with a combined value of $400, were stolen from an unlocked shed on the 200 block of Douglas Road. The theft was reported at 5 p.m. Jan. 21.
