Program will have guests watch, discuss feature film
“Point of View” is television’s longest-running showcase for independent nonfiction films.
P.O.V. premieres 14 to 16 of the best, boldest and innovative programs every year on Public Broadcasting Service.
The library offers a program for participants to watch the film, “The Hobart Shakespeareans,” at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18, in its the meeting room followed by a discussion of the issues presented.
Luis Cabrera, former teacher and principal of Elgin’s Huff Elementary School, leads this discussion on the film which focuses on an assessment of elementary school education in the United States.
