American Music Institute to host Solo Competition

The American Music Institute, a non-profit organization, is hosting its first Solo Competition on Saturday, Feb. 24, at the Hinsdale campus.
The competition is from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and consistd of three categories — first- through fourth-grade, fifth- through eighth-grade, and high school.
There are educational prizes from scholarships to Chicago Symphony-donated concert tickets to musical supplies.
