After competing in sectional meets over the past weekend, members of the boys track teams in the area are ready to head to state.

The Renegades High School Rugby Club has collected over 150 food items for local area food banks on Monday.

The Hinsdale South doubles team of Brittany DeClouette and Emma Adcock fought off all their adversaries at the state badminton meet on Friday and Saturday to take home a state title. 

Downers Grove North, Downers Grove South, Hinsdale Central and Hinsdale South all competed at the Downers North Sectional on Thursday. 

The Hinsdale Central girls softball team gave up three early runs to Lyons Township on Wednesday, and put themselves in a hole for the remainder of the game. 

The Hinsdale Central boys volleyball team defeated conference opponent Proviso West on Tuesday evening. They posted 26-24, 25-14 wins.

The Downers Grove North and Hinsdale Central girls track teams competed at the West Suburban Silver Conference track meet on Friday.

The Hinsdale Central girls softball team fell short against York on Friday, and succumbed to their visitors by a score of 5-1.

Downers Grove North traveled to Hinsdale Central on Thursday, and came home with another win on their record. 

The Hinsdale Central girls softball team couldn’t hold off Glenbard West on Wednesday, and wound up falling to their visitors 6-3. 

Hinsdale Central is holding wrestling camps this summer for ages K-12 at the Hinsdale Central wrestling room.

The Hinsdale Central girls water polo team fell 9-5 to York in their last dual meet of the season on Monday.

Victory is sweet—especially for the Downers Grove North boys gymnastics team, who claimed the West Suburban Silver Conference title on Saturday. 

Hinsdale Central, Downers Grove North and Downers Grove South all competed in the Tiger Invitational at Wheaton Warrenville South on Friday. 

The Hinsdale Central girls water polo team claimed a close 8-7 win over Richards on Wednesday.

The Hinsdale Central girls water polo team faced Oak Park River Forest on Monday, and swam away with a 9-6 win over their guests.

The Downers Grove North girls badminton team faced off with Hinsdale Central twice in the past week, and both times, the Trojans landed on top.

Lyons Township hosted Hinsdale Central on Monday, and sent their visitors home in a close game. 

The West Suburban high school Bulls rugby team, which is comprised of players from Lyons Township, Hinsdale Central, Nazareth and Riverside-Brookfield, had a dominating performance on Saturday over Barrington.

The Hinsdale Central girls softball team split a doubleheader with Willowbrook on Saturday.
